'Speak to the Future' - the Campaign for Languages

Televic UK are proud to be a supporting partner for 'Speak to the Future', a new campaign which is highlighting the importance of languages, language learning and professional language activities for the UK. Targeting the public, media and government, the campaign's initiatives are raising awareness of the issue – and aim to bring about a step-change in attitude and policy in favour of languages.

The University of Nottingham install Televic

The University of Nottingham install Televic

The prestigious University of Nottingham have opened a brand new suite installed with Televic's Digital Interpreter Training System, which will be used to host international meetings and conferences at the University, allowing students to work with authentic and professional interpreting equipment.

The new conference and interpreting suite is located in the Hallward Library and is equipped with specialist microphones for 12 delegates and booths with 16 professional interpreter desks.

Pelckmans' online learning project Matrix big succes!

Last year Pelckmans (one of the biggest Belgian publishers) launched their new mathematical online learning project called "Matrix". Due to it's online practice and testing possibilities for students and extended follow-up and reporting options for teachers, Matrix was a big hit in Belgium. In total it reached an astonishing 20000 hours of online learning done by the students improving their mathematical skills.
