Translation revision and evaluation

When evaluating and revising translations, objectivity and consistency are key, though usually difficult to achieve in reality.

When having to evaluate or grade students or freelance translators based on revising tens or hundreds of translations from the same source text, it is difficult to keep using the same criteria for all translations and translators. A reviewer's native language, natural bias or even the number of revisions made can easily influence the results.

That's where the Televic Education solutions come in. These are not just of real use for translation training, but also in the selection, evaluation and recruitment of translators and revision and quality control by translation service providers.

translationQ is the most promising tool to come along in the nearly 45 years that I have been a translator, revisor and translation manager.
